:: This control screen is used in ground-level skydiving training facilities. The operator has complete control and visibility of the main drives and can communicate with the student through a single interface. A joystick, for speed control, compliments the computer touch-screen, while a student flies in a vertical air stream. The system communicates via Modbus with 5 variable frequency drives supplied by Saftronics, Inc. The system tracks operator login/logouts, alarm history, and provides extensive data collection for tracking of KW usage, Wind Speeds, etc. Screens are customized by interfacing with the customer during the design and programming process to provide optimum operator comfort, visibility, and efficiency.
